Nestlé Egypt resumes food and beverage production

nestleNestle, the world's largest food and beverage company, announced in a much hailed step the resumption of production operations in its Egypt factories, as well as the inception of distribution, after the recent national disturbances in Egypt.

The measure taken conforms to its desire to serve loyally its consumers for food and beverages, and to ensure their needs are met to the best of Nestlé's ability.

To meet consumers' needs and demands, the company started to supply all products required for stores and shops as of Wednesday, February 2nd. It is also a matter of pride for Nestle that most of its employees have resumed their responsibilities with the company.

It is noteworthy that Nestle will invest a sum of EGP 1000m approximately in the next 3-4 years, which is equal to what it has invested in the past 10 years; thus, creating about 500 jobs, contributing to more economic development in Egypt. Nestlé's commitment to the Egyptians consumers, the country and creating shared value remains strong.
