How to protect yourself from online scammers?

• Do not give anyone your personal (or other) data related to consumer transactions.
• Beware of sellers who require a fee before any delivery of goods and / or services.
• Beware of suspicious deals.
• Beware of work at home or over the Internet and various easy earnings - often these are pyramid schemes.
• Goods which are necessary to test and different sensitive goods (animals, food ...) shop only in person.
• Fraudsters often communicate only by e-mail, telephone number is broken or numbers belong to another person.
• Pay attention when you register on various sites and portals - the service can be charged or your information may be misused.
• Beware of offers (or responses to your ad) in a language other than English, Arabic (or grammatically wrong) - they can be scammers from foreign countries, whose goal is to get you to pay in advance or ask you to send the sold goods without payment, or misuse your personal and banking data.

What to do if you are a victim of fraud?

Immediately report the scam to the nearest police force. We would help the police and provide them with all available information that could help in discovering the fraud.

It is wise not to send money via Western Union and similar services. Better to deal in person or talk to your bank about the best options to protect your payment.
